They said the Stugs are redesigned and retooled from the ground up. But why retool an old kit and not tooling some new kits? I expect their CAD engineers are already on their payroll so whether they use their time to redesign an old kit or designing a new kit have the same fix cost. The additional cost will be making a new set of tooling, and applies the same to new or old kits. Will they sell more if they put out a set of Sherman family or with this retooled Stugs? |

That was the way they were advertised by Dragon when the Stugs 1st came out, so I doubt anything has changed.

Once again the price seems unreasonable. List for $12 but on sale for $10, over twice the original price. I think I will wait until production is up, if it is,
and then buy from the other sources I have used in the past to get these much more reasonably priced. I am somewhat heartened by the re-release of the 21st
Century items, I could use more trucks. However the camo on the trucks is a bit ridiculous and will require me to repaint them.
